ADDIS ABABA: October 7 (EI) – Ethiopia’s first-ever satellite is set to be launched in December this year from a center in China, the Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde said on Monday.
The Chinese Academy of Space Technology is developing Ethiopia’s 70kg Multi-Spectral Remote Sensing Satellite ETRSS-1 – a 70kg Multi-Spectral Remote Sensing Satellite, known as ETRSS-1, through support from the Chinese government, according to the Ethiopian prime minister’s office.
