ADDIS ABABA (EI) — The Ethiopian government has announced that the country has generated a record more than 9.8 billion USD in export revenue during the past 11 months, driven by strong performance in key export commodities.
Ethiopia’s Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration disclosed in a statement that the country earned 9.81 billion USD in export revenue during the first 11 months of the current Ethiopian 2025/2026 fiscal year, ending on July 7, 2026.
The ministry highlighted that the reported export revenue has marked a 36.1 percent growth when compared with the same period last fiscal year, which was said to be 7.21 billion USD.
Data from the ministry also showed that the reported export revenue has recorded a 115.6 percent of the initial target set by the ministry.
