Tecno introduces latest smartphone brands to Ethiopian market

ADDIS ABABA: November 8 (EI) – Chinese telecommunication products manufacturer, Tecno, on Friday launched two of its latest Smartphone brands – Phantom 9 and Camon 12 with an ambition to further penetrate Ethiopia’s smartphone market.

According to the company, Tecno’s premium flagship device Phantom 9 features an array of enhanced features, “taking smartphone technology experiences to the whole new level.”

The Phantom 9 brand, among other features, is embedded with a 16MP+2MP+8 Megapixel (MP) artificial intelligence triple camera, which is said to create “clearer and wider angel pictures.”

While the Tecno’s other flagship brand, Camon 12, also featured an upgraded 16+2+8 MP artificial intelligence Max triple a rear camera and its four outstanding shooting performances.

The Camon 12 series is also backed up by large batteries at 4000-MAh each, offering users with higher battery power.

According to the company, the Phantom 9 series also draws power from a 3,500-MAh battery, with only two hours to fully charge the battery.

“On a single charge, the Tecno Phantom easily lasts for an entire day with a screen-on-time of around 7 hours,” company officials said during the launching event here on Friday.

Both products are expected to arrive in mid-November to Ethiopia’s market, company officials told reporters.

“Professionals in different filed of life now can find it convenient to carry high-quality cameras in their pockets in the form of smartphones,” said TECNO Marketing Manager, EL Hassani Mohammed.
